
This is one of my favorite photos in awhile. It’s an HDR merge of 6 photos, all taken at ISO100, f11.0 and a range of shutter speeds. The HDR was generated and tone-mapped in Photomatix Pro 3.0 (as opposed to Photoshop, which I used previously), loosely following a tutorial written by the always-amazing Chromasia.
I’ve driven past this building a lot and always admired the way the glass reflects the sky. But it wasn’t until this day that I actually had my photo equipment with me at the right time.
