Photos: Coachella Day One

After that, it was off to the Mojave tent to catch Redd Kross and get out of the sun. At this point in the weekend, I still had the energy to seek out bands that weren’t on my extensive list for Pitchfork. I’m not actually that familiar with their music, but I was familiar with their name, so it was nice to see a couple songs of their set. They were great performers and they definitely had some die-hard older fans in the audience.
