My feet, hanging out at Kosi Bay in South Africa – the only place on the whole trip where there was any danger of me catching malaria. As such, I used a LOT of bugspray with a high content of DEET in it. Even so, it ranks up there with Big Sur as one of my favorite places on earth.

This is a shot taken with 35mm film in a modded Holga (which normally takes 120 film), hence the exposure over the sprocket holes and the film information on the edges. All the Hipstamatic/Instamatic iPhone apps in the world can’t beat the way this looks.
