Some brought couch cushions. Some brought body pillows. Some brought stuffed animals. Some brought cameras.
Some brought joy and absurdity. Some brought anger and agression. Some brought friends, some came by themselves.
Some were white. Some were black. Some were mexican. Some were asian.
Some were children. Some were parents. Some were teenagers. Some were twenty-something.
Some lost their pillows. Some lost their joy when struck by errant elbows, but quickly rejoined the fray. But the best were those that lost their anger. Those that had their aggression turned to laughter, their rage to joy.
And me? My cynicism turned to faith in humanity, by such a simple thing as a pillow fight.
