I’ve been using my new negative scanner over the weekend, and I’m pretty happy with the results. I just load up 5 strips of negatives and let the thing go to town. Yeah, it takes awhile, but quality usually does. I’m looking forward to archiving/revisiting the negatives I shot waaay back when I was actually taking my film class, but for now, here are some recent shots I took and accidentally scanned in using the “millions of colors” option, instead of greyscale. Kind of a cool effect, huh?
For the record, this is ISO 400 film and a 28mm wide-angle lens on my dad’s super-old Canon AE-1. Can you say old skool?
