Just so that dead spider photo isn’t at the top of my page today. This one was an accident – a “what kind of close-up shot can I get at 250mm hand-held with a shutter speed of 1/50?” (IS was on, obviously). Turns out I can get a not-so-sharp photo at ISO 1600 of my window blinds – also known as a happy accident. I like the lines in this photo, the way the weak early evening sun was still filtering through the blinds. And the grain? It totally works.
