San Diego Wedding Photography: Kelsey and Steven, 03/21/2010

Kelsey and Steven got married on March 21st, 2010, and seriously, they were amazing clients to work with. No stress on their wedding day, they treated me as a friend from the start, and they have great taste in music! We even realized at some point that we had some of the same friends, through that aforementioned great taste in music ๐Ÿ™‚ Their entire ceremony and reception took place at The Abbey, which is a gorgeous venue to shoot at, and it was all organized by the amazing Francine Ribeau. The bouquets and floral arrangements were provided by Britt from Tend Living – she does absolutely beautiful work with sustainable, locally grown plants.

See what I mean about The Abbey being gorgeous?

Steven is a fan of golf and soccor, and Kelsey really likes ponies (and with a closet full of Breyer horses back in PA, I can totally relate!). I love it when couples add their own personal touches to the ceremony and decor!

I love being a part of the getting-ready process – there are so many tender and important moments that go into the preparations.

I love the way the are looking at each other right before the first kiss ๐Ÿ™‚

One of the other personal touches they had was a “wishing wall” where guests could write wishes for the happy couple and place them into these slots. I didn’t get a chance to write one at the time, but I wish them all the best in their new life together, and I know they will share a lot of happiness in the future. We should all be so lucky!
