More photos: Elvis Perkins in Dearland @ M-Theory in-store

This was hands-down the best in-store performance I’ve ever seen. The only regrettable thing is that they didn’t play a full show in town. Of course, if they had, I would have missed it due to a Swim Party show in Long Beach that night, but still.

Absolutely amazing performance. I was not really expecting the full band, and while things were a little crowded in the tiny store, the band didn’t hold back any. Especially not the drummer, with his marching band bass drum. He might have been my favorite.

If you don’t have their new album Elvis Perkins in Dearland, you should probably snag it, like, now. Trust me.
